17. September 2021: Registration opens and participants can apply for fastMRI training data at https://fastmri.med.nyu.edu.
21. September 2021: The challenge optimization dataset is released for optimization / validation of the pre-trained models.
15. November 2021: The challenge testing data set in the form of degraded k-space data sets are released.
15. November – 20. November 2021: The submission of the reconstructed test images is open.End of November / Beginning of December 2021: Calculation of metrics and visual image quality scoring of the submitted test images.
06. December – 14. December 2021: NeurIPS takes place. The MedNeurIPS workshop is scheduled for December 14th. Our session is planned for 4 pm (EST).The competition organizers reserve the right to update the timelines.

27. July – 31. July 2021: The submission of the reconstructed test images is open.
August 2021: Calculation of metrics and visual image quality scoring of the submitted test images.
1. September 2021: The teams of the top-ranked methods are contacted and invited to present at the MICCAI challenge workshop.
27. September – 01. October 2021: MICCAI takes place. Our satellite event is scheduled for September 27th 9:00 UTC.
